Always recharge after every use
Lead acid batteries must be kept fully charged especially if they will be stored for long periods. We recommend recharging them every three months while in storage.
Li ion batteries retain charge more efficiently but cycling them occasionally during storage helps maintain their health and ensures they are ready for use.
If a battery remains discharged for more than two weeks its capacity may be permanently reduced and it could require replacement.
Leaving a product on charge will not cause any harm but it is good practice to disconnect the charger and switch off the mains power once charging is complete to save energy.
Before proceeding, please check the following steps have been followed:
- Have you confirmed you are using the correct NightSearcher charger?
- Is the mains supply switched on and working? Try another outlet.
- Try discharging the product for 10 minutes and then reconnecting the charger, it may already be fully charged.
